Register to perform in 2026

Solihull Choir Festival is back for 2026!

This year, the festival will be taking place Friday 26th - Sunday 28th June 2026 in Touchwoods' Theatre Square.

Last year we welcomed 1,268 singers, aged 8 to 82 to join us for our first ever festival, with performances ranging from pop, gospel, and musical theatre to church music and Makaton. We are excited to welcome expressions of interest for our 2026 festival.

Criteria
  • We will be giving priority to choirs based in Solihull

  • Choirs can be any genre, age, skill or size- our festival is inclusive of everyone!

  • Our stage has a maximum capacity of 60 singers per choir

  • Choirs will take priority over amateur dramatics societies

Fees

Please note, last years festival was entirely funded by the generosity of business sponsors, who allowed us to raise £22,000 to support the festival to be free and accessible to all.

The current funding landscape is very difficult, and as such, this year, we are asking for choirs to contribute £3 per person to take part. This will help us cover vital costs including the staging, audio equipment, and first aid provision.

If you would like to discuss this, please get in touch by emailing solihullchoirfestival@gmail.com

There is no fee for school groups to take part.
